WHAT ARE ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS?

• Anti-wrinkle injections are compromised of a natural occurring protein that relaxes the muscles, called Botulinum Toxin.

• They work by blocking chemical signals to the muscles that would usually tell them to contract.

​

• Therefore temporarily weakening or paralysing the injected muscle.

​

• Botulinum Toxin takes around 2/3 days to see results and 2 weeks for the full results, at this point you would have a top up if needed where only small doses would be injected for any stubborn areas. After this you cannot have any further injections for at least 3 months.

• It lasts between 3-4 months before movement starts to return.

​

• Everyone’s anatomy and needs are different, therefore different dose sizes are used for each client. Also depending on the area and the results you want to achieve.
